WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE FERIA XCARET DE ARTE POPULAR MEXICANO?
To establish a space where Mexican master artisans can exhibit and sell their creations, encouraging them to continue producing high-quality works that stand out for their cultural, artistic, technical, and aesthetic contributions, thereby helping to promote Mexican Folk Art as a Cultural Heritage of our country.

From 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
WHERE WILL IT BE HELD?
At the Hacienda Henequenera in Xcaret Park.
WHAT IS THE COST OF ENTRY?
Included with any Xcaret Park admission ticket, or MXN 200 for access to the Xcaret Mexican Folk Art Fair only, payable directly at the park ticket office or through feverup.com.

Yes, you have free access to the Feria Xcaret de Arte Popular Mexicano.

Folk Art Market, Live Craft Demonstrations, Competition, Talks, and Traditional Attire Runway.
WHAT DO THE ACTIVITIES ENTAIL?
• Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Market: Explore colorful displays featuring the unique creations of participating master artisans.
• Live Craft Demonstrations: Immerse yourself in the creative process through live demonstrations showcasing traditional artisan skills and techniques.
• Competition: Adding excitement to the fair, the competition will award nearly one million pesos in prizes across the categories of ceramics, textiles, woodwork, other techniques, and a special themed category inspired by the Mexican National Coat of Arms.
• Lectures and Panel Discussions: Hear artisans and distinguished guests share their insights on topics related to the importance of folk art as a vital part of Mexico’s cultural identity.
• Fashion Shows: Tradition meets fashion in runway presentations that highlight how folk art inspires contemporary design. Special runway presentation of traditional dress by its cultural custodians.

Thursday, September 24, Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26 at 5:30 PM.
WHEN IS THE TRADITIONAL ATTIRE FASHION SHOW?
Sunday, 26 at 5:30 p.m.
WHAT TIME AND WHERE ARE THE PRESENTATIONS?
At 4:00 p.m. in the Guadalupe Chapel.
WHAT ARE THE COMPETITION CATEGORIES?
Ceramics, textiles, woodwork, and other traditional craft techniques. For the first time, the exhibition also features a special themed category inspired by Mexico’s National Coat of Arms.
WHAT ARE THE OTHER TECHNIQUES INCLUDED IN THE VARIOUS CATEGORY?
Glasswork, Cutlery and Bladesmithing, Amate Paper Art, Jewelry, Traditional Toys, Gourd Craft (Huajes), Huaraches, Fiber Crafts, Leatherwork, Stonework, Metalwork, Silversmithing and Goldsmithing, Cartonería (Paper Mâché Art), Wood Carving, Wixárika Art, and Straw Art (Popotillo).
WHAT ARE THE COMPETITION PRIZES FOR EACH CATEGORY?
- 1st place: MXN 100,000.
- 2nd place: MXN 80,000.
- 3rd place: MXN 60,000.
- Honorable mentions: MXN 20,000.
